At the Hyères festival, Ifeanyi Okwuadi earned the top prize for his designs. He took home The Grand Prix of the Jury Première Vision (Fashion). The 27-year-old designer is based in North London but his family is from Sierra Leon and Nigeria. His collection, “Take the Toys From the Boys,” showed at the festival inspired by the military. His menswear line included brooches that had toy cars as well as other influences.
