Kiernan Forbes, South African rapper known as AKA, was pronounced dead at the scene of a shooting in Durban, South Africa. The incident occurred on Friday, after 10PM. According to reports, Forbes was due to perform in the city on the same night, but while out on Durban’s Florida Road, was struck by multiple gunshots. Forbes, and another man, were both shot and killed. Forbes was found dead at the scene, and the other man died shortly thereafter, “despite life-saving efforts.”
Just earlier Friday, AKA announced to fans that his new album MASS COUNTRY would be released on February 27, just a few weeks away.
