Corona Virus: the fastest man alive, Usain Bolt tests positive.

Date:

Usain Bolt tests positive for the COVID-19 virus after hosting a mask-free bash in celebration of his 34th Birthday.

World-record sprinter and eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt has tested positive for the coronavirus and is self-isolating at his home in Jamaica after last week celebrating his 34th birthday with a big bash mask-free. “Just to be safe I quarantined myself and just taking it easy”. Bolt said in the message posted on social media that he appeared to have taped himself while lying in bed. The caption to his post was “Stay safe my ppl”.

A video recording shows a number of pro athletes, including Manchester City star Raheem Sterling and Bayer Leverkusen’s Leon Bailey, were at the party. A Manchester City spokesman said on Monday that Sterling still was in Jamaica and that he would be tested for the Corona Virus before the next English Premier League season begins, as all players are.

Fans wish Bolt a speedy recovery on social media – “drink up your ginger tea,” one wrote – although some accused him of carelessness. He claims to be asymptomatic and urging the attendees of the party to also endeavor to isolate themselves. Bolt has been wished a speedy recovery by many.
