Dave Chappelle is returning to the stand-up stage!
The comedian is making his Broadway debut for only one week inside the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in what’s being dubbed Dave Chappelle Live on Broadway.
The curtain goes up July 9 and will run through July 13 only. Each performance starts at 8 p.m.
Chappelle last performed in New York at The Grammy Theatre back in 2016. In 2017 he also released four Netflix comedy specials titled The Art of Spin, Deep in the Heart of Texas, Equanimity and The Bird Revelations. Last month it was also announced that Chappelle will receive this year’s Mark Twain price for American humor in a ceremony at the Kennedy Center in late October, which will air on television in January 2020.
Like any other Chappelle show, no recording devices, including cell phones and cameras, will be allowed in the theatre.
But if fans can deal with that, tickets go on sale June 21 at 10 a.m. ET via TicketMaster.com.
