Idris Elba has been deemed the “Coolest Man On The Planet,” by Esquire Magazine. It is their cover story this month, and publishes alongside an in-depth interview. As he continues to do press, and make appearances for his new Netflix film, the all-Black Western, The Harder They Fall, the cover debuted. Among the cast, Elba stars with Regina King, LaKeith Stanfield, and Jonathan Majors. The film is out now on Netflix, watch the trailer below.
In promotion of his new film, Elba sat down for an interview, where he discussed getting Covid, the loss of his father in 2013, and topics that have helped shape him into the actor he is today. As an ode to his character, John Luther, from the series, Luther, he says that he could see a film or two come out from the TV show. But that is yet to come into fruition.
