Smart Money Woman teaches Financial Literacy To Women

Arese Ugwu is a financial guru and financial freedom advocate. She wrote The Smart Money Woman which tells the story of African women who find themselves in financial messes and are struggling to come out of them.

Arese is the founder of Smart Money Africa which is a personal finance platform tailored to the African millennial. She is also the author of a book called The Smart Money Woman: An African Girl’s Journey to Financial Freedom. The book provides a practical approach to conquering personal finances and not just staying afloat but thriving as a young African woman.

The Smart Money Woman showcases an African girl’s journey to financial freedom. This book tackles, debt, spending, the consumerist culture of the African middle class, the fear and misconceptions surrounding money and the lack of it, love, friendships, cultural and societal pressures, and the roles they play in success. With each chapter comes to a Smart Money Lesson, there to help you work your way up the financial ladder.

Arese is now gearing up for the release of the series to bring her book to the screens. The Smart Money Woman series is a 13 episode TV series starring Toni Tones, Lala Akindoju, Osas Ighodaro, Ini Dima-Okojie, and Ebenezer Eno in the lead roles.
