Working out doesn’t have to be dreadful. It can be fun and empowering. And that’s just how Afrifitness creator Rachael Okesola feels about it too. She is a self appointed expert in the African fitness and wellness space.
She created Afrifitness for people looking to move their bodies to an Afrobeat dance workout that is accessible to everyone. She believes that “no matter what shape or size you are or where you are in your journey, [her] aim is to inspire, motivate, and teach you to adopt a healthier lifestyle that will change your life forever.”
In her workouts you will find movements that include not only African Dance techniques, but also resistance training and high intensity interval training (HIIT) exercises. Watch below as she takes you through a quick, fun, but also challenging workout you can enjoy any time of day.
