Are you tired of rice? We present you two low-carbohydrate alternative foods to eat, instead of rice that fit the bill.

To help you jump on the healthy food wagon,  I have two versatile vegetables that look like rice and add more magic to your dishes but with half the calories of rice. If you aren’t familiar with the healthy food options I am speaking about! Let’s check out why sweet potatoes and cauliflowers are the superfoods  you should include in your diet right now.

 The Sweet Potato is officially one of the new 2017 superfoods because it is fully packed with antioxidants, vitamins A, B, and C,  it will keep you satisfied for longer and cater to your taste buds if you have a sweet tooth.

Cauliflowers is not a boring vegetable anymore but a staple vegetable to consume and one of many superfoods. It has 73% of the vitamin C recommended intake and contains zero grams of fat, fiber,  vitamin Band antioxidants. Preparing sweet potato or cauliflower rice is very  easy. To prepare them cut the vegetables into small chunks, add them in a food processor until they are crushed, but not too much, and that’s it! You can use it as a side dish to complement any of your favourites  meals. You can also use these two superfoods in many different ways: baking a gluten free cauliflower pizza or preparing sweet potato toast with a nice topping (instead of bread) or pasta with an spiralizer.  Healthy food options are endless!
